This new 10,000 sf residence was built to replace a former architect’s studio and residence, which had been vacant for some time. A new full basement was excavated under the entire home, requiring extensive shoring and underpinning. New high performance mechanical systems were installed. The building's L shape conceals an interior courtyard.
